Prism: An Art Show Celebrating the Visions of Queer Youth, June 2024

Call for Art! Submissions due by May 24.

The Ink People is accepting submissions for art for an art show celebrating the expressions of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

"Prism" is open to submissions from youth ages 9-24. Each artist may submit one work and receive a $20 stipend for the submission. Artists will also have the opportunity to sell their work. Art will be displayed at the Brenda Tuxford Gallery at 422 First Street for the month of June with an art opening on June 1. Additional celebratory activities may take place during the month.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: 1) Most Creative Use of Materials 2) Most Prismatic 3) Extraordinary Technique 4) People's Choice 5) Dynamic Color 6) Heartfelt Expression

Art must be appropriate for all ages!
